New Business and Top-Ups
New business & Top Ups: to be submitted by 17:00 (CET) Tuesday, 1 December 2026.
The more complete the application pack (application form, identification document (“ID”), proof of residence, know your customer (“KYC”) documents, source of wealth corroboration supported by independent proof, tax compliance, portfolio statement, etc.), the faster we can process the case.
Top Tips:
Conducting an initial case review alongside our Customer Onboarding counterpart is the most effective method to ensure the documentation is complete and ready to be processed. It would allow both parties to assess, earlier in the process, the status of the case and define what still needs to be obtained, by whom, and by when.
For numerous banks, the account opening procedure, which in some instances can take up to 4 weeks, may commence prior to the signing of the application pack or with minimal client information. The earlier our Customer Onboarding Team is informed, the sooner the process can be started.
In the case that the premium includes assets, in order to ensure all assets are compliant, the portfolio composition is to be provided as soon as possible in the application process, before 1 December 2026.
In regards to premium payment:
Once the case is formally accepted by the company, our Customer Onboarding Team will authorise the transfer of the premium. As many banks will already be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from Friday, 18 December 2026, please ensure that you submit premium payment instructions before Friday, 11 December 2026 for cash payments, and before Monday, 30 November 2026 for in-specie asset transfers.
Withdrawals and Full Surrenders
Withdrawals to be submitted at the latest by 17:00 (CET) on Friday, 11 December 2026.
Surrenders to be submitted at the latest by 17:00 (CET) on Friday, 4 December 2026.
Original documents are not mandatory for withdrawals, except for cases managed by the Italian Branch. However, they remain mandatory for surrenders, terminations, and death claims. To ensure smooth processing, please verify that all required transactional documentation is properly submitted.
Top Tips:
The parameters below can have an influence on the overall turnaround time of Money-Out transactions:
- Policy pledged
- Cash availability
- Compliance review and external enhanced due diligence (additional 2-3 weeks)
- Portfolio liquidation
- Internal transfer prior to payment
- Channel used for payment
- Asset/NTA related illiquidity
- Fund valuation or disinvestment model
Digital signatures for partners and clients are allowed, as long as the documents are signed in accordance to Utmost Luxembourg S.A. guidelines.
Commission payments (Unit Linked and Portfolio Bond Policies)
Commissions and fees will continue to be paid as normal, in accordance with each Adviser’s specific arrangements. However, if a payment due date falls on a day when Utmost Luxembourg S.A. is closed, the disbursement will be processed on the next working day.
Dealing Requests transmitted through the Dealing Team
DRF received before 12:00 (CET) on a Luxembourg business day:
- DRF will be transmitted to the custodian bank within a Day+1 by close of business (on the following business day).
DRF received after 12:00 (CET) on a Luxembourg business day:
- DRF will be transmitted to the custodian bank within a Day+2 by close of business (two business days after receipt).
We will certainly endeavour to process any requests received after the below dates prior to 31December; however, we cannot guarantee completion within this timeframe, in particular where the transaction is subject to a third parties’ action outside of our control.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in 2026 and wish you all a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
