Oaktree is a leading global investment manager specialising in alternative investments with $193bn in assets under management as at 30 June 2024.
In 2019, Brookfield Asset Management acquired a majority interest in Oaktree. Brookfield is an alternative asset manager and the two companies together have approximately $1trn in assets under management as at 30 June 2024. .
